\u201cAlebrijes<\/strong>\u201d, these magical carved wooden figures are made of Copal. It is important to mention that Pedro Linares in the 1930s made his first \u201calebrijes\u201d of cardboard and paper-m\u00e2ch\u00e9. Alfonso Caso, anthropologist-philosopher, and the famous painter Diego Rivera didn\u2019t design the \u201calebrijes\u201d. They only promoted Pedro Linares creations.<\/p>\n
